Some individuals have abandoned Christianity due to their belief that life should be simpler. They believed that nothing challenging would ever occur; they shouldn't encounter anything "bad" or endure any trials, tribulations, testing, or spiritual warfare. That’s simply not true. When we take the time to read the Bible for ourselves, we clearly see that’s not the case. Even though being a Christian doesn’t exclude us from those things, it does give us the ability to use everything in the arsenal that God has equipped us with in order to come out on top.  Let's get into the details of the spiritual armor of God and suit up!

As Christians, we ourselves can get caught up in doing things in the way of the world, especially when it comes to money. A great scripture often quoted, Matthew 6:33, tells us to seek ye first the kingdom of God, and everything else will be added to us. We all know this scripture. The one part of that scripture that's always overlooked is “and his righteousness." This part of the scripture is equally important in "all things” being added to us. In this blog, we will examine the book of Haggai to show us how and why the “and his righteousness” part of the scripture is equally important to flourishing and being blessed. Lord willing, we will see the importance of rebuilding and keeping the temple clean for Him to dwell in.

When people talk about the enemy attacking and spiritual warfare, most people think that it's something obvious. But it's not so obvious all the time. Sometimes it's the subtle things that can sneak up on a person, like silence. Don't let this silent killer leave you exposed to the enemy! Shout unto God and fight to get back in the fight!

This is a new segment that I’m going to be starting and it’s called “What’s Your Why?”. It’s a question that I think that sometimes we just don’t ask ourselves enough. It’s okay to be inspired, but sometimes a person gets drawn into trends, wanting to do what everyone else is doing because of FOMO (fear of missing out), we've gotten comfortable in our routines, a person that someone admires is doing it or maybe it just gives someone a feeling of self-gratification. The “What’s Your Why” segment is something that gives us a chance to check ourselves. We all need it from time to time. In August 2022, I received an interpretation of this parable that continues today to encourage me in my faith walk. We can all use some encouragement in our faith, no matter our age, whether we’re a well-seasoned Christian or a babe in Christ. Our walk with God is continuous. We’re not done until we’re done.
